Halloween Events in the Valley

Florenceville-Bristol

The Carleton County Toy Run Assoc. will hold a Children’s Halloween Party at the Florenceville Legion on Saturday, October 26,  from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All are welcome and prizes will be given out for best costume and there will be fun games and a great treat to take home! Then from 9 pm to 1 am, the Carleton County Toy Run will be hold a Halloween Dance at the Florenceville Legion with DJ Jason Morgan ($5 at the door).  There will be door prizes and prizes for best costume. Must be 19 years of age and I D will be requested at the door!

Haunted Train 2011 (51)Hartland

This Halloween, Thursday, October 31st costumed youth of Hartland Community School will go door-to-door in the town of Hartland to collect donations of non-perishable food items instead of candy. Trick or Eat is Canada’s largest youth-led food drive. This year, by engaging 8,000 youth, Meal Exchange aims to collect $500,000 worth of food to support 100 local food banks and $50,000 in online donations.100 per cent of the food collected will be donated to Volunteer Family Services.  There is also an online donation option for those who are not able to donate food to Trick or Eaters.  For every $1 donated online, Meal Exchange is able to provide 1 meal through a local food bank.

Woodstock

Hayward House Recovery Centre, in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association NB Division, will hold a Halloween Family Fun Day at Hayward House, 705 Main Street (front door entrance), on Sunday, October 27, from 2 to 4 pm.  It will be fun for all ages with games & snacks including a fortune teller and a maze.  Cost is by donation.
